In order to solve the problem of insufficient supply of compliant software security level ChinaDRM client products in the market, DTA has developed a software security level SDK (TrustDTA SDK) for stock terminals for APP built-in. The SDK has passed the security assessment of ChinaDRM Lab and Riscure Lab, and the video platform integrated the SDK can meet the copyright management requirements of content parties for high-definition content.

丨ChinaDRM Client SDK Requirements Description

1、Existing terminals supporting DRM require mature SDK supply

•There are a large number of terminals in the market (mobile terminals, set-top boxes, televisions, etc.) that do not have ChinaDRM client capabilities, and in the short term or due to limitations in terminal basic capabilities, they cannot support CDRM through system upgrades and can only be integrated within the APP

•Using mature SDKs provided by industry DRM technology providers can avoid R&D investment and reduce DRM SDK integration costs

2、SDK should have high security protection capabilities

•The SDK should be able to protect the security of device digital certificates and keys, licenses, video and audio data, and comply with the ChinaDRM Compatibility and Robustness Requirements

•SDK should pass security assessments by industry recognized organizations (ChinaDRM Lab, Riscure, etc.) to meet the playback security requirements of high-quality content (such as Hollywood 720P)

•SDK providers should have the ability to continuously iterate and maintain, follow technological developments, patch security vulnerabilities, and continuously enhance security

丨Current Status of ChinaDRM Client SDK

1、The security level defined after communication between ChinaDRM Lab and Hollywood

•Software level has passed ChinaDRM Lab software security assessment and Riscure security assessment; Protect content with resolutions of 720P and below

•Hardware level security assessment by ChinaDRM Lab (terminal supports TEE); Protect 1080P resolution content

•Enhance hardware level security assessment through ChinaDRM Lab (terminal supports TEE and side channel attacks, watermarking, etc.); Protect content with resolutions such as 1080P and 4K

2、Current situation of DRM technology providers

•Implementing a DRM software security level operating environment and completing security assessments requires a high level of investment

•There is no SDK in the domestic market that meets the security level requirements of ChinaDRM2.0 software (prior to the release of this SDK)
