ITU-T J.1043 (Compliance and Robustness Rules) passes the ITU-T approval process
In July 2026, ITU-T J.1043 "Digital Rights Management for Video and Audio Content Distribution - Compliance and Robustness Rules" was successfully approved by the traditional approval process of the Telecommunication Standardization Department of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-T). ITU-T J.104x covers four aspects: requirements, system architecture, client, compliance and robustness. Previously, ITU-T J.1040 (requirements), J.1041 (system architecture) and J.1042 (client) were released in 2024-2025.
