Introduction to ChinaDRM R&D of Service Provider

1、 The overall research and development tasks of ChinaDRM mainly include developing client runtime environments（SOC/Terminal), development of client functional modules（SOC/Terminal), DRM server system integration (Audio-visual Content Service Provider), briefly explained as follows：

2、 Ecological services are mainly provided by ChinaDRM Forum, ChinaDRM Lab - ABS, DRM technology service providers, and Trust Management and Ecological Operation Center - Huanyu Trust (DTA), as follows:

1. ChinaDRM Forum

(1) ChinaDRM Forum provides a platform for discussing and developing standards.

(2) DRM solution providers such as Novel‑SuperTV, Sumavision, Unitend, TASS, SecureVE  provide professional technical development services.

(3) DRM solution providers provide DRM system integration services, operation and maintenance services.

2. ChinaDRM Lab - ABS

(1) Provide developer support: Provide a unified client SDK (core source code); Provide a developer community platform;

(2) Provide product or technology security assessments: TEE, client products (terminals, apps), server components, DRM system assessments;

(3) Provide DRM service certification: Provide DRM  integration and R&D service certification, DRM operation and maintenance service certification,  DRM audio-visual content operation service certification, DRM manufacturing service certification, and other DRM service certification.

3. Trust Management and Ecological Operations Center - DTA

(1) Trust Management Center: Provide legal cooperation agreements and build trust relationships among members of the ecological chain; Provide server and client digital certificate issuance and lifecycle management to ensure trusted communication between DRM techlical components;

(2) Ecological Operation Center: Provide R&D resources such as solution resources and cooperation resources, promote the solution of key industrial development issues through application demonstration, innovation, marketing, etc., and promote the rapid application of DRM technology;

(3) Developer Services: Provide public technical components, testing environments, application consulting, technical Q&A, lower the threshold for DRM technology usage, and promote the large-scale deployment of DRM.

3、 The R&D process of implementing ChinaDRM system capability and the use of DTA and ChinaDRM Lab services

Note：

1. ChinaDRM Lab is a key laboratory of the National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) for digital media content protection technology research, established by the Academy of Broadcasting Science (ABS) with the approval of the NRTA.

2.DRM client development, terminal device manufacturing, and DRM server-side component development may be provided by third-parties, and the SP may procures such products and services.
