Academy of Broadcasting Science(ABS) has designed a DRM technology and product assessment mechanism, as well as digital rights management (DRM) service certification rules, to effectively support and ensure the correct, compliant, and effective industrial application deployment of DRM. In terms of service certification, as an approved service certification agency by CNCA, ABS carries out digital rights management (DRM) service certification work for the industry, ensuring standardization and normalization of DRM products and systems in research and development, production, planning and design, integration and deployment, and operation and maintenance, and enhancing the industry's ability to protect audio-visual content copyright. As of now, 7 institutions have the qualifications for digital rights management (DRM) audio-visual content operation services, and 3 institutions have the qualifications for DRM integrated research and development services and DRM operation and maintenance services.

As of now, 9 DRM operating systems, 32 DRM client runtime environments (chips), 30 DRM client devices, 4 video digital watermarks, 4 DRM client applications, and 29 DRM server components have been evaluated through DRM technology and product assessment.
